Tepetate is an installation by artist Francisco Muñoz, meant to simulate an archaeological set that mimics the mortuary rituals carried out throughout the Meso American territory and the anthropological methods for its depiction in public collections and museums. This exhibition is a reflection on different concepts such as theatre, the use of scenery, simulation, recent history and the materiality of objects.
